Sunday, May 22nd, 2011

Sat May 21st, We had a last minute trip booked by Phil Chu. It was Phil’s son Bryan’s birthday and along with Brandon, and Peter Chu, Dave Lee and Roger Darosa, Capt Stew fought through the FOG to catch a manangere of tablefare for the goup. Mackerel, Cod, Tautog, and a bunch of Flounder made for lots of filletts to go into the oven. Of course “birthday boy” Bryan caught the biggest fish.

After a solid week of NE blow, we finally got out on Sat 14 May and found a fleet of 70-100 boats all working general area. Nobody been out in a while, so Everybody who had a boat in water seems to be there. Anyway, Jimmy D and his gang did a nice job picking away at the Cod, Pollock, and nice Haddock. Was not a mad dog bite, but the boys stayed focused and brought home some niceĀ  fillets.
