Jody R has gone tuna fishing with us a few times. Never found any love. Sunday Jody took his 1st tuna! a nice 61″ fish that acted like a big boy for a while. Relased fish nice and healthy to grow up. Since his brother Dave took fish a week ago, it was ony justice that Jody got his today. They will argue as to who’s was bigger, but the smile on both face’s is still the equal on bith faces.
Had Big Buck (from Wisconsin )and Family onboard for a Tuna/ Groundfish trip. We Hooked them up with local guy( Chris Salvo from Framingham) to share expense and everyone had a Supper Day. Water was FAC and we spent morning tuna fishing. Whales put on a little show. After early afternood tide and no love on tuna grounds,we moved to deep water for groundfish. Dogfish killed us everywhere, but we managed to pull out some nice COD and Haddock. All in all a supper day. WX was supperb
Marcos wanted an “offshore trip” Had chartered another boat last year and was not happy with that trip. We took them for bottom fishing first and caught Cod, Haddock, Cust, Pollock, and a wolfish.(which we released by law) Their arms were rubber when we decided to go Tuna fishing. Live bait got devoured by huge striped bass. (released by law) Whales but on a show for the party. Guys had trip of a lifetime. Water was FAC. loved it
Had Dave R. along on our tuna trip. Dave caught his 1st tuna. a nice 60″ fish which we took on the troll. Dave loved it!. Fish swam away nice and healthy after we released it.
Sean O’Brien (I think we’re related) had his friends out for a GREAT Day Fishing and enjoying themselvs. This day was an A+ day. Calm seas, fish feeding ALL Day long. We caught from start to finish! 8 plus hrs and the gang was exhausted. Fish still on the feed when we packed it in. Bluefish have invaded. These guys don’t know what a great day they had, being thier 1st trip. They are spoiled fer sure!
Had a bunch from the U.K. who had rented house in Nahant onboard. Fishing had slowed a little, but we managed to find the fish and get some nice fillets for the grill. Released most of the fish do to fact that the group was leaving next day for home, so they took only what they could cook that night. (that’s the way to do it. No wasting fish!)
Jimmy Zaiken took his son along with his son’s friends fishing for the morning. We started right out catching 30″ fish after a quick steam. Fish were spotty but co-operating. Don’t you know that when Dad (Jim) hooked up, he landed a very nice 43″ fish. Just goes to show ya. Fathers always know best!
Had Tim, Penny and their Mom onboard for a striped Bass Trip. High sun and fishing not so easy as last trip. After we found the fish, we had another great trip. Lots of Fish in the 30-32″ range. Nice fillets to take home to N.Y.State. (also hooked them up with a lobstaa dealer)
Waited for morning t- storms to pass. Went on trip with the Thompsons and friends. Caught a ton of stripers. Had best fishing of their lives.
